Want to be part of something different? Alice Shapiro’s new book, Saltian, is going to be more than just another collection of poetry (which would be pretty spectacular in its own right). Saltian is a collaborative work-in-progress, meaning Alice and I are going to be asking you the reader to weigh in with some editorial commentary over the next 2 months. Beginning in June, poems from the book will be posted here with critiques by the members of the editorial board (yes, this book has its very own editorial board!). These posts will be open to reader comments, which will be considered by Alice as she finalizes the content for publication this fall.
